What can I see and do in the Wenatchee Mountains?

  • Mountain Biking
Explore the Wenatchee Mountains on two wheels. Boundary Butte is a 13-mile loop combined with two out-and-back legs. It is a moderately easy trail with a varying climb grade. Some of the local’s favorite biking trails are the Devils Gulch and Mission Ridge trail. These two can be combined into one 17.8 mile single track loop or done separately.
  • Skiing and Boarding
The Wenatchee Mountain itself is referred to by locals as “Microwave.” Mission Ridge Ski Resort is located on the Microwave and boasts 2,000 acres of sunshine and powder.

Where are the Wenatchee Mountains?

The Wenatchee Range is only about 25 miles southwest of Leavenworth but they take a little extra time to get to because there is not a direct route. US-97 S to WA-970 W will get you to the Microwave and any other activities.
